Towns & Villages
The prosperous town of Kingussie has so much to offer its many visitors. At the foothills of the Cairngorm and Monadhliath Mountain ranges, Kingussie is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and all those who appreciate fresh clean air, dramatic ever changing scenery and Highland hospitality.
Pursuits of Nature are the most common reason for visiting Dalwhinnie. Hill walking, fishing, golfing and Munro-bagging are all accessible from here, but it's excellent central location is very often underestimated, access to the West of Scotland (Fort William, Skye, Oban, Ballachulish, Loch Ness) can all be made through Dalwhinnie.
The village of Laggan is situated in the Central Highlands of Scotland, surrounded by the Monadhliath and Grampian mountain ranges, it provides the opportunity to explore the peaceful countryside with the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife from Golden Eagle or Osprey to Red Deer Stag and Pine Martin. There is also an abundance of wild flowers, plants and trees. Laggan Wolf Trax Mountain Bike Park is here, with 17.6km of Blue, Red and Black runs for all standards of mountain biker.
